Member Spotlight: Social Venture Partners
Welcome to Social Venture Partners-Cincinnati (SVP-Cincinnati), where we believe in pooling resources and expertise to support local nonprofits in addressing disparities in health, income, education, and opportunity. Our mission is to help people reach their full potential by providing hands-on coaching, training, and collaboration for nonprofits.
Who We Are
SVP-Cincinnati is a collective of professionals who share their monetary contributions and extensive expertise to support local nonprofits. Our partners come from diverse backgrounds and are dedicated to making a tangible difference in the Greater Cincinnati area.
What We Do
We provide more than just financial support. Our partners offer in-depth coaching and assistance in areas such as development, marketing, and accounting. By leveraging our collective knowledge, we help nonprofits achieve their missions more effectively.

Project XLR8
Project XLR8 combines the best elements of our Fast Pitch storytelling competition and investee selection process to help nonprofits improve lives in our community. The program progresses in three phases over eight months, with grant money awarded at each phase:
- Explore (September to November): 10-12 nonprofits are chosen to develop a storytelling pitch.
- Lift (January to April): 4-6 nonprofits advance to develop a business plan for their ideas.
- Realize (April): One investee is selected for a multi-year investment of up to $60,000.
